James Krüss
James Krüss was born on the island of Helgoland in 1926. He is one
of the most popular German authors of books for children and young
people. His books have been translated into more than 30 languages
worldwide. James Krüss, who passed away on Gran Canaria in 1997,
received the international youth literature award, the
Hans-Christian-Andersen Medal for his complete works.
