Hedwig Munck
Hedwig Munck was born in Mircovac, Yugoslavia in 1955 and she grew
up in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. After gaining her Abitur, the
German university-entrance diploma, she studied to become an art
and maths teacher in Reutlingen and later also visual
communications at Berlin’s College of Fine Arts. Since 1981, she
and her husband have produced several cartoons for children’s
television. In 1998, they created the cartoon series “The Little
King”, which has now been broadcast successfully for ten years.
Many children’s books and audioplays followed.
